Les biches: another battle of Stalingrad

Otter leaves the shelter and takes the usual route towards the river. The carcass of a red hind lies at the side of the road. It is partially covered by snow. Another deer floats up against the underside of the Volga's frozen surface. Otter wipes some of the snow from the ice as if to read the inscription on a grave.
